Scott-Broadwood is a small, nurturing village infant school where the children are at the centre of everything we do. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent start in this first stage of formal education; delivering a curriculum which is rooted in the skills and information children will need to make sense of the world and become life long learners. Our three classes (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2) work separately to deliver age appropriate education and we are developing a wider range of community learning for the creative subjects in the afternoons. We aim for high standards in achievement and behaviour, and children are both challenged and supported to achieve their own personal targets. Ofsted recognised this in their July17 inspection when our previous GOOD judgement was confirmed once again.
Our Christian values and ethos are central to school life at Scott-Broadwood, and we help children to develop a strong moral code and have respect for each other and the world around them. Above all, we want our children to love learning, be the best that they can be and have fun.
This website will give you a flavour of our school, but cannot portray our special atmosphere of care, trust and love of learning - please do call to arrange a visit and find out more, we would love to show you round.
