Absence & Illness

If your child is absent from school, please inform the School Office on 01306 711181 or by email on info@sbinfant.uk before 9:15am, telling us what their symptoms are, what action you have taken to get support or advice and when you think they will return to school.  Please remember that if your child is suffering from vomiting or diarrhoea, you must wait 48 hours from their last episode before they return to school. This will help to prevent the spread of any infection and keep our children healthy. If you are in any doubt, please contact the School Office who will be happy to advise.

Ideally, medicines should be administered at home. If your child requires medication in school time, please speak to the School Office. The medicine must be labelled, in its original container and a Medication Request Form completed and signed (available from the School Office).
